Every gift goes directly to Virginia Men's Lacrosse.

Your support powers five priorities that keep Virginia competing at the highest level: scholarships, coaching, operating excellence, player development, and alumni engagement.

Nine national championships. We're chasing the tenth — and every gift, at any level, helps get us there.

Stewardship of Capital

Our board has direct autonomy over where every dollar goes.

That autonomy is the point. A volunteer Board of Directors — alumni, parents, and friends of the program — stewards the Foundation's capital and decides how it's deployed in direct support of Virginia Men's Lacrosse.

This gives the program leverage. A dedicated, independent pool of capital — governed by people who know this program — means UVA can move decisively when it matters most, rather than waiting on a budget cycle.

Elite coaches build elite programs. A coaching endowment ensures UVA can recruit and retain the best minds in the game, year after year.

Operating Excellence

From travel and equipment to facilities and training resources, operational funding ensures the program can compete at the highest level every single day.

Player Development

Player development goes beyond the field — from elite skills training to alumni mentorship and career connections after graduation.

Alumni Engagement

Your connection to Virginia Lacrosse doesn't end at graduation. Alumni engagement funding powers the events, communications, and programs that keep this community connected and invested for life.
How Giving Works

Ways to give.

Lasting strength comes from combining transformational gifts with dependable, recurring cashflow. Together, they give the program both firepower and stability.

Recurring Membership. A monthly or annual contribution at any level — starting as low as $1 a month. Members giving consistently creates the dependable cashflow that lets the program plan and build with confidence. Our goal: 1,000 members giving an average of $100 a month by the start of the 2027 season.

One-Time Gift. Not ready to commit monthly? A single gift at any amount goes just as directly to the program — and is fully tax-deductible. The fastest way to make an immediate impact.

Major Gifts. One-time and multi-year commitments from those looking to make a transformational impact. The board works directly with major donors to direct support where it creates the most leverage for the program.

All donations are 100% tax deductible. VLLF is a registered 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 41-4188584). You'll receive automated tax documentation with every contribution.
