Virginia Lacrosse national championship celebration

Preserving the Legacy.
Powering the Future.

The Virginia Lacrosse Legacy Foundation (VLLF) unites alumni, parents, supporters, and fans to give Virginia Men’s Lacrosse everything it needs to win — now and for generations to come.

Our goal: 1,000 members by the 2027 season.

The Virginia Lacrosse Legacy Foundation is an independent nonprofit created by alumni, parents, supporters, and fans of Virginia Men's Lacrosse. We raise and steward funds that go directly to the program — scholarships, coaching, operations, and player development — so Virginia has everything it needs to win. We are volunteers. Every contribution is tax deductible.

Our goal is 1,000 members giving an average of $100 per month by the start of the 2027 season.

The Story

Why we're building this.

The Changing Landscape of College Lacrosse

Why now.

College athletics has changed. Under the new revenue model, programs like Virginia Lacrosse must build their own sustainable future.

Other programs are adding scholarships and investing heavily. We cannot stand still. The Virginia Lacrosse Legacy Foundation exists to ensure UVA Men's Lacrosse remains a national championship program — funded independently, led by those who built it, and powered by the community that loves it.

We are alumni, parents, and fans. We are volunteers. Every dollar raised goes directly to the program. And because we are a registered 501(c)(3), every contribution is fully tax deductible.
